The Firefighter's Carry-All

The Firefighter Carry-All is handcrafted, using decommissioned fire kit from the Isles of Scilly Fire & Rescue Service, based here on St Mary's.​

Made in small batches, the tunics are carefully dismantled, redesigned and handmade in my workshop here on Scilly, every piece is unique. Every mark, panel and detail reflects a life spent in service of the Islands.

The strong, protective fabrics are challenging to work with; each bag takes many careful hours to create. Original features from the firefighter kit have been retained, making every bag unique. The only additional material added are straps and bias tape, even the tunic's lining is carefully reworked to finish the interior of the carryall.
